Hello! My name is Joel, and I have been dedicated to the field of education since 2013. After earning my Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wollongong, I have worked in preschools and schools were I have had the great privilege of educating little ones. I have had my own Kindergarten class multiple years, helping me to deepened my understanding of the importance of preparing children for their first year of school. Helping me to foster an attitude and passion for learning about our amazing world, and encouraging children to be the best little people they can be!

Throughout my career, I have developed a strong passion for promoting early literacy and numeracy skills, also including STEM education, which I believe are essential for our children’s future. I strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment where each child feels valued and inspired to learn. Building strong connections with children and families is at the heart of my approach, and I genuinely love meeting new families and learning about everyone's unique stories.

Living in the beautiful Illawarra region, with its clean sandy beaches and rich multicultural community, has greatly influenced my values and teaching philosophy. I believe that nature and exploration are vital components of a child’s education, and I work to incorporate these elements into my teaching practices.
